We enjoyed our second Gaelic football session with a coach from Naas GAA for PE this week. We practised passing, movement and shooting and we finished off with a match.
Congratulations to Paddy, Aaron, Jamie and Ferrán who were on the school U11 hurling team who were successful a few weeks ago. They beat a strong Maynooth team in the final in Moorefield.
Over on our Kidblog this week, we've been writing about our favourite sports. Above is a Wordle that represents all the posts. And below are a few of these posts:

My favourite sport is hurling . I like it because lots of people play it, if you ask someone to play hurling the chances are they will play it with you .
Hurling is the fastest field ball sport in the world . It is one of the hardest sports in Ireland because you have to learn 170 skills .
Some of them are blocking , hitting , kicking , soloing (etc). Me and most of the people I know train in Naas G.A.A ( Naas Gaelic Athletic Association ) .
My favourite hurling team is Kilkenny !!!!! They have won 33 all Ireland hurling finals . One of there best hurlers is Henry Shefflin .
He is also known as King Henry . Ballyhale Shamrocks is his club . Kilkenny drew with Galway on Sunday .
The replay is on the 30th and I will be there to see Henry Shefflin break the record for winning the most all Ireland medals .
He is going for his ninth medal and Kilkenny are going for there 34th time getting the Liam Mccarthy.
UP THE CATS !!!

My favourite sport is Tae-Kwon-Do. You need great strength to do it. There are a lot of people that like to join Tae-Kwon-Do. The teachers are very strict.Last year we went to Cork for a children and adult competition. I won a third place trophy in the competition. I was really happy with myself. Tae-Kwon-Do is just great I think more people should do it. I am a green belt training for green belt blue tip. Tae-Kwon-Do is great. I THINK IF YOU JOIN YOU WOULD LOVE IT TOO!!!!
