Last week was Maths Week. Throughout the week we enjoyed some maths related activities. On Thursday we did a maths table quiz from Seomra Ranga.
Just over a week ago, Mr. O'Farrell came to our classroom to test the water in our fish tank. He used a special testing kit to show us how much amonia was in the water. Unfortunately it turned out that the water wasn't in great condition! The picture below shows this (the darker the green, the worse the water). So, on the advice of Mr. O'Farrell, we set about improving this. We, well Robbie, changed some of the water every day and added small drops of a chemical that helps reduce the chlorine. On Friday, Mr. O'Farrell came back to test the water again and we saw a huge improvement (see below). Hopefully our fish are now a bit happier!
On Friday our school had a non-uniform day to coincide with GOAL's Jersey Day. Details of how much we raised will be on the school blog next week. For now, here's a picture of three of us proudly donning our jerseys!

We recently welcomed five (yes five!) new members to our class! Their names may seem a little bit strange to you. They're called Swimmy, Chubs 1, Chubs 2, Chief 1 and Chief 2. And here's what they look like! Thank you to RR, one of our human class members, for finding us five new friends!
