Eoghan was recently pictured in a local newspaper following his team's victory. Well done Eoghan!
As a big fan of football, Eoghan has also shared with us his "Ultimate Fantasy XI" which he has named "Unbelievable Tekkers"!

This was one of my presents for Christmas.
It is Halo base which is based on the Halo video game . There was 1241 pieces of Lego to put together to make this base, currently sitting on my shelf in my bedroom out of my small brother's reach. It took about eight hours for me to make this over a four day period. The hardest bit was the rocket ship which took six hours. It was very tedious to do. It was great fun building this structure because I like making things out of Lego. By Luke. One way to draw triangles involves using a compass. Given the lengths of the three sides you can draw the base and then draw arcs (with your compass) using the other sides' lengths. The point at which the two arcs meet becomes one vertex of your triangle. Then just join that vertex to the two ends of your base line!
Have a look at Mark's excellent work in the picture below. Today we made a circuit. Firstly we got into groups. I was with Adam, Jordan and Dónal. Secondly Ms. Ryan handed out all the batteries and wires. Next we attached the wires to the battery. Then we put the bulb to the wires. Eureka! The light bulb had turned on. It was a lot of fun and I would love to do it again!
By Billy. Have a look at the video below to see how we got on! Congratulations to Paddy, Aaron, Jamie and Ferrán who were on the school U11 hurling team who were successful a few weeks ago. They beat a strong Maynooth team in the final in Moorefield.
